The Road Ahead (Poem)
These tears from my eyes have never fallen in vain
They're a sign that in me, your kingdom still reigns
That you're still working in the depths of my heart
Embedding that fear that sets us apart

That fear that brings us to do the right thing
That fear that motivates us to glorify our King
That fear that prevents us from living in sin
That fear of God we lost, when we let rebellion move in

I'll be the first to admit, It's not easy to walk on a straight line
While sin constantly tries to exploit the weakness in our minds
Thinking we will never get caught committing crime after crime
With deaf ears we hear and we see with eyes that are blind
Jesus Christ (Poem)
Yes, there was a man born of flesh
Who overcame the world and all its tests
The only one worthy to be called His holiness
A royal king who spent His days with the poorest sects

The only man on whose flesh maggots cannot feast
Who took our sickness and sin, for love of you and me
Who proclaimed, to be great you must become the least
He is the greatest gift mankind through grace has ever reaped

He spent his days and nights connected to God the Father
Kept it real at all times, like him there is no other
Hated by all whom were corrupted by money and worldly power
Accepted his mission fully knowing, He'd die for unworthy followers

My Revelation (Poem)
I could have sworn that you and I were meant to be
The hardest truth was shown to eyes that refused to see
My peace was gone, a broken heart and tears that never ceased
This is all that I was, all that was left of me

The countdown to my self destruction had been initiated
Piece by piece I broke apart as I became more devastated
If only from the Lord I had not deviated
This series of catastrophic events could have been evaded

Lesson learned and I've now organized my priorities
Jesus has risen to the top and no longer a minority
Love and forgiveness was His gift to me
I can now walk peacefully as one of the redeemed

The nightmares no longer
Sincerest Hope
I'm not looking for sobs, I'm not looking for tears
I'm praying that you'd want to transform the rest of your years
That you'd make that decision that would deliver you from all of your fears
And that all the confusion in your mind would be finally cleared

It's been so long, but I'm still here
Praying and believing that you'll let God near
That one day I'd wake up to the sound of music in my ear
Hearing your voice worship, singing, how Jesus changed your life after so many years

I'd often ask my self Why is this so important?
Why not give up the hope and just ignore it?
Why feel discouraged when I hear you're still exploring?

God Always Comes Through
Sometimes we live through a horrible experience
It's not easy to wrestle with personal demons
In our impatience we do things we shouldn't do
But even then, in the end, God always came through

The things we hate, those things we do
The things we'd like to do, those we can't do
If Paul the apostle went through it, so will you
But even then, in the end, God always came through

When we  misaligned our minds from the will of the divine
Sin seeped through to seduce with promises of good times
Promises we paid a heavy price believing they'd be true
But even then, in the end, God always came through

Feeling as if I'm drowning
But there is no water surrounding
On my knees, on the ground I keep pounding
Can anyone hear me!? I feel my soul shouting

Feeling claustrophobic but there is nothing crowding me?!
Physically everything is going perfectly, so what's happening?!
So peaceful on the outside but inside something's bombing me
It's like I'm tied down and bound, who can set me free?

I can't touch it, it's something I can't even see
How can I fight an invisible enemy?
my strength is failing, I'm down on my knees
Can't win this mortal combat, just hurry up and finish me!

Then the deja vu hits me, I've bee
Helpless SurrenderGod I surrender,
I am crumbling down,
From this white-washed tower,
From this fortress of wickedness in which I am bound,

God I abandon,
All pride and all fight,
To stand tall on my own,
I cannot do what's right in Your sight,

So God I lay down,
All I have at Your feet,
All burdens and sorrows,
All that's left of this broken mess of me,

But You lift me up,
And You hold me close,
You comfort my tormented soul,
Give me feelings I've never known,
You lift my head,
You wipe all my tears away,
Whispering how You love me,
And in You I will not be shamed,
Rocking me in Your arms,
The same that hung every star,
The arms that were opened to the wor
Come restWhen you say come rest
Should I being working so hard?
I have tried so hard to earn your love
When you said come rest
Should I be working so hard?
Did you mean my hands or my heart?
From the hill your calling out "Love rest"
I have tried so hard but kept on missing the mark
Still you call "Love rest"
Why should I be working so hard?
On the cross you said "It's done" 
There is nothing I can do to earn your love,
All the labor I have done can't measure up
I just added more weight to what was light.
When you "come rest"
Should I be working so hard?
I was convinced it was right
but there's nothing left to do except to be near  
You called come rest 
So I come

It's time to let go of the hurt

That's what God says to do

It's time to seek the impossible
It's time to re-evaluate the situation
It's time to change motives of the heart

It's time to show love to ungrateful hearts

Why does it all still haunt me
Why do memories still taunt me
It may all just be in my head
Mental thoughts as if to be led
To think I've not moved at all,
even though I've begged
To be at peace but instead
My peace was merely a temporary shed

Blown away by the winds of a time I've left behind
Now it's found me again and I look for new signs
I can only see that evil smirk as the enemy thinks of my demise
Now I pray to my Lord who hath saved me time after time
Why has my right to love feel more like a crime
Why must I live in exile of my own feelings of my own mind
Save me Lord and take me into better times
I may not deserve it Lord but i kno
Not Even DeathWhen the skies fall
Down onto me
And I can’t even crawl
You take my hand
And lead me to a land
Where I am safe
And no harm can come my way

I feel Your strong hand
But my dreams feel impossible
And then You say
"Just believe and with Me you can
Because I am able"
And I feel Your protective eyes
Like a father You are by my side

And all I can say now
As worry lifts from my brow

You are my righteousness
You are my confidence
I feel like I can fly
Not even death can untie
The bond that is made between

Your voice is like rushing water
And Your eyes are like fire

the arms that support you,
surrounding you with love.
I want to be there,
ready to catch you,
standing behind you,
someone to lean on.

I want to listen to your problems
before I tell you of my own.
I want to ask you how you feel,
pick up the broken pieces,
be ever on your side

to put your needs before my own.

Hoping That You'll Find (Poem)
Letting you go wasn't the easiest thing for me to do
Even though forgetting me, seemed so easy for you
Took me years in fact, but in the end I could finally see
I couldn't save you, not even as the man you needed me to be

I had always seen you as my little damsel in distress
That as the hero, I could rescue you and well you know the rest
But I couldn't be the hero, I wasn't prepared for such a test
Forgive me, if instead of relieving, I may have added more stress

It's been over a year since we legally separated
It was a weird feeling to be both relieved and devastated
But I didn't write this to reminisce, or turn back time

Breakthrough The Cycle (Poem)
As the heart aches the mouth profanes
To habits and addictions we've become enslaved
Our frustrations increase as our sin remains
Yet in our strength no progress can be obtained

Only when we are so broken, it's Him we start seeking
The one whom in our suffering has been silently weeping
His words never ceased as He has always been speaking
We ignore that voice that has been internally preaching

He sends out His faithful to testify of a love so great
It is not in His nature to forsake and let you fade away
He is determined to bring you back to that wonderful place
That in your search to fill your heart, you lost the way

Now you sit in worry
Paid in Full
Imagine it as if it was happening today
The hour was dawning in which it would be His last day
Jesus, took 3 of His disciples and went out to pray
As the death He'd prophesied was but a short time away

He began to be filled with sorrow and became deeply distressed
"My soul is exceedingly sorrowful even to death.."
So strong was his distress that blood expelled as He sweat
Three times He asked them to stay awake and pray but three times they slept.

"Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold the hour is at hand,
And the Son of Man is being betrayed into sinners' hands.
Rise, let us be going. See My betrayer is at hand"

The Love of Jesus Christ (Poem)

It's because of love that I've found you
It's because of your love I've found truth
When sadness and strife filled my days
Your eternal love showed me the way

When I only knew regret and remorse
You sent messengers right to my door
When my heart turned love into hate
You turned my pain into hope and good faith

The world will know who is Jesus Christ
My life, my love I owe you my life
You can lighten even the darkest of nights
You are the reason that I continue to fight

Where would I have ended up if not for you
Lifeless with out purpose never knowing the truth
That we can aim higher then we'd ever thought to
as you reveal secrets of life that no one else knew

Just raise up your hands and let Jesus come through
He'll cleanse, straighten, and create a new you
Just praise and worship all he is and all he can do
Then run and tell others how Jesus saved you!
